What to expect:
FUN! A great workout - achievable for almost all fitness levels, first timers or well-versed guru's. All welcome. Pilates uniquely combines a targeted strength session that is low impact (making it nice on your joints/pelvic floors/stress hormones) BUT packs a punch at the same time.. pulses anyone?! Throughout the session, expect to include some mobility work to increase your range of motion and mind-muscle connection. And finishing with a few minutes of stretching and relaxation at the end for good measure. Classes will run for about 45-50 minutes.
All of our Online or Hybrid Pilates members, gain complementary access to our private Facebook group, where you will receive exclusive Nutrition resources (As a Clinical Nutritionist), recipes and additional On-demand workouts for weeks life may get in the way and you can’t make it to class OR if you want to add extra workouts into your week from the comfort of your own home.
About Pilates
Pilates uniquely combines stretching, breathing, posture and movement control. It's focused on improving flexibility and strength of the total body. This aids in improving mobility and flexibility whilst toning every muscle of the body.
The best part about Pilates is ANYONE can do it, whether you're a complete beginner or an exercise pro, there are options for everyone.
I absolutely fell in love with this low impact yet incredibly effective form of exercise during my pregnancy and post-partum journey over the past 3 years. I adored how grounding yet challenging Pilates truly can be, igniting the core strength like nothing else! And getting some serious results in the process is an added bonus. Think about it as ticking off your daily workout, stretch, mobility and stress management all in one session.
